Winter is a great time of year for skin exams before the summer weather kicks in.

It is also an excellent time of year to have any type of skin growth removed before you are swimming and doing outdoor recreational activities.

I also recommend gentle bathing (lukewarm showers, less than 10 minutes, sensitive skin cleanser), moisturizing if found to be helpful after bathing, and a humidifier in the bedroom for patients suffering from dry or itchy skin.  

Any skin rashes that are not resolving with sensitive skin care warrant a visit to the office!
